Great Pushchair

Date:May 11, 2013
I bought this pushchair before my son was born, and have now been using it for a year.
It has been excellent throughout this time, and we have had no issues, apart from my dog chewing through the straps in the back of the car, and M&P's sent us replacements within a week which was fantastic.
We used it initially with the Sola carrycot, which looks really smart and is perfect for newborn. We also used the carrycot for my son to sleep in when we went on holiday when he was 8 weeks old. Although it was only used for a couple of months, I would reccommend purchasing the carrycot with this pushchair, especially for a winter baby. They look so small in the seat straight away, so we put our seat away for the first four months. We had the MaxiCost Cabriofix car seat and used it with the car seat adaptors, again this was so handy especially on cold, rainy days, and also when baby was sleeping in the car seat.
The frame and seat collapse easily, it is so easy to take apart and put back together, and the whole thing fits in the boot of my 55 plate Vauxhall Corsa (which has a tiny boot!) if you take the seat off the wheels and lay the chassis and the seat alongside one another.
My 2 favourite things about this pushchair are that it looks so smart (even after a year's use it looks new), and also that you can change the seat to front or rear facing, even now my son likes to sleep facing me, so I can just swap the position when I need to.
I have found the size of the shopping basket is ample, and I also have a clip to hang shopping from the handle. The pushchair is sturdy enough that it has never tipped backwards.
The height adjustable handle is also great, my husband is much taller than me!
Overall a great pushchair, and fantastic value for money compared to some of the one's my friends have bought. This really is a rival for some of the more expensive pushchairs/travel systems.

Very impressed!

Date:May 2, 2013
Recently purchased the Sola
Pushchair in Lime and so far I am very impressed. Previously owned the mothercare orb but had to return due to faults with the base. Once previous pram retuned I needed a new one a.s.a.p so popped into the Hull branch at Kingston Retail Park and was helped by a lovely advisor named Kate. Kate was extremely helpful and helped me to choose this pram and even put the pram together for me there and then so I could leave the store with a pram to use straight away. Kate was very patient and ran through with me all the functions of the pram. Only thing I would suggest for this pram is that it could do with a slighter larger basket but otherwise I'm very happy - seat is comfortable with or without footmuff and the top part of footmuff can be removed easily via a zip fastening. The seat is quite wide which is great as child gets older and bigger. The back of the seat can be adjusted so it lies flat so suitable for my son who is to young to be upright yet but the hood can be pushed back so he is still able to have a good look around. Also pram can be closed with seat still attached which saves space when putting into the boot and also at home. Would highly recommended pram - functional and I think very stylish and would also recommend Hull store for people in this area as staff extremely helpful.

Dissapointed.

Date:March 27, 2013
After 5 months of using this pushchair I am so let down by this purchase. We have returned this twice now once for a replacement and once to be sent away. It has always had a wonky front left wheel which wouldn't touch the ground and likes to spin round when walking then just recently the release catches to fold down began to jam (cheap plastic mechanisms) and we got stuck out one day and couldn't get our chassis folded into the boot! Then last week my back left wheel span off while walking down the street! There's clearly serious problems with the chassis from my experience which is very worrying. I seriously doubt it will last us longer than a year. Very upset and fed up!

Excellent pushchair but it's not without faults!

Date:March 22, 2013
I spent ages browsing through travel systems for my newborn until i found the Sola, i went to my local M&P's and loved it! The seat is alot more spacious than other travel systems, the hood is bigger and better, it has a foot rest for when baby is older, the adjustable handle is great, the shopping basket is spacious. Buying all the extras is a downfall as their so expensive, it's a value price if you only buy the pushchair, once you get the footmuff, car seat, adapters, carrycot etc it's not quite so good value for money! The straps aren't long enough, my daughter is now 11 months and they only just fit and are a bit tight so i'm not sure how the pushchair would last until toddler years. It's only lightweight when the seat unit isn't on, with the seat attached it's quite heavy to lift in and out a car and is so wide it only just fits in our car boot ( a vw golf). It's a shame because it's such a nice pushchair. . .just needs a few tweeks!
But the worst thing of all, i was out with my daughter just strolling around a shop and suddenly one of the back wheels fell off! It wouldn't click back on and i spent the whole walk home kicking the wheel back on every 30 seconds, it won't go back on no matter how much we try and are now left without a pushchair!! This pushchair won't last past 1 year, not to the toddler years it claims!

Brilliant pushchair!

Date:March 11, 2013
After a lot of pondering and shopping around we decided to go for this one! We were right. Brilliant and versatile. Easy to move, easy to fold, easy to change from one position to the other. Great quality build. I have done so many miles with it: with my daughter since her birth we have been out every day walking for hours. On tarmac, off roads, everywhere. The chair is still doing great (maybe not too clean!!) and it still works a treat. Had a wheel coming off (rear wheel locking mechanism broke) and M&P shop gave me a loaner straight away while my buggy was being repaired. Great service! Got the buggy repaired back in 10 days, no charge for me,
My daughter is very comfy in the chair and she seems very happy with it.
Only downside: the break pedal: my husband feet always press it unintentionally..maybe the pedal could be made shorter or moved to the side?
The car seat is very comfy and soft. The ISOfix attachment is very handy too.
Go for it anyway: brilliant buy.

Sola travel system - great

Date:March 4, 2013
We bought our sola last year for our first baby. It's a great system, and really easy to use. My only criticism is on the car seat: the sun shade doesn't come down far enough so doesn't stop all the sun from shining on the babies face. Unlike maxi cosi which attach to the handle. And the headhugger was too big when our baby was born, so didn't look like it gave great head support. It's much better now he is bigger.

I loveeeee it

Date:February 24, 2013
I am soooo happy with Sola :D I had the switch and I hated it! I loved it for how cosy it kept my little baby but that was it that was all that was good. It was rickety and big and annoying. This is just perfect, so sturdy, swift, easy to push, easy to put down and up, bright and colourful, lots of space in it for my girl to grow, the basket is easy to get to... just love it couldn't be more happy :)

Extremely happy

Date:February 16, 2013
Purchased this pushchair online as wished to upgrade/replace a previously used travel system and wanted something a little smaller for ease of use and for travelling. The order was completed quickly and the delivery made at the promised time. Assembly is painless and completed within a matter of minutes. The frame is solid and sturdy and has survived the rigors of an airplane journey without a mark. The chair itself is easily changeable from either front or rear facing and is well padded for child comfort. With the chair in the front facing position the unit folds very flat making it easy to carry or to load into a car boot.

Best pram I've had yet

Date:February 11, 2013
I have 2 children one is 2 1/2 and the other is 10 months this is my 6th pram in 2 years and by far the best, spacious seat for baby and large hood to cover from the sun and still space for my toddler to stand on the buggy board , I also like the fact you can have the seat facing either way, really good sturdy pram would recommend to friends.

Sola buggy

Date:January 29, 2013
We bought the Sola in Sept 2011 for our first child. We've been very happy with it and would recommend it to other parents. We are both tall and found the handle height fine. The basket underneath is spacious and easily accommodates a large shopping bag. It's very useful to be able to face the baby towards you when they're small and the seat is easy to recline. The buggy is very sturdy but also easy to manoeuvre.
The Sola is advertised as lightweight. I haven't compared it to other buggies but now that our child is almost 17 months & I am pregnant again I do find it quite heavy, especially when lifting it in & out of the car boot and we have just ordered a lighter buggy for our toddler.
We bought the matching footmuff and parasol. The parasol is easy to use & provides good shade in summer. However, we found the footmuff to be quite loose, i.e. it's not a snug fit & we end up using a blanket around our child's legs in winter underneath the footmuff - definitely not worth the money.
We bought the carrycot for when our baby was newborn and it was well worth it. It was really cosy and we used it for overnight sleeping when we were away from home. It seems to be one of the larger carrycots on the market and easily lasted 6-7 months.
Likewise, we bought the Cybex Aton car seat & found it extremely easy to use and attach to the buggy chassis. It is also larger than most newborn car seats and easily lasted for over a year.
Overall we're very happy with the Sola (plus matching carrycot & car seat) and would buy it again if we had the choice.

Great Buy

Date:January 28, 2013
I purchased this buggy for my son along with carrycot, I would strongly recommend both! Although he grew out of the carrycot after a couple of months Im happy I bought it. Love the Sola its a great buggy, light easy to push and folds up small for the car. The only thing I dont like is the foot muff. Its not really practicle for a baby more suitable for an toddler. Its quite loose. Otherwise no nedagtives would definitley recommend.

Great pushchair, excellent customer service

Date:January 27, 2013
Bought this for our first baby and it does everything I need it to. The carrycot alows us to keep her comfortable and warm on longer walks & for short shopping trips the carseat attaches so we don't have to wake her. We haven't used the actual pushchair yet but I'm sure it will be excellent. We had a wonky wheel and took it in to the store where they changed the wheel there and then, fantastic customer service.

Gorgeous Pushchair !

Date:January 16, 2013
I have recently purchased the Sola and have to say I love it. It's brilliant quality, lightweight, easy to push and looks great. I love the way the seat faces either way and how it's so easy to change. My little boy sits comfortably in there and there is plenty of room. I have had so many comments about what a lovely pushchair it is.
I actually bought the Silver Cross 3D originally and couldn't wait to get rid of it, it was awful. I only wish I'd bought the Sola in the first place !

Date:January 13, 2013
I recently purchased this in plum and it's such a gorgeous pushchair. I had the pramette at first and must say this is so much better my baby is six months and I didn't like the fact that she couldn't face me in the pramette and she also looked squashed in the seat but the sola is great she has loads of room and I can face her to me now which I love and it's a dream to push. So happy with this.

Fantastic pushchair, but.....

Date:January 11, 2013
Fantastic travel system cannot fault it as a pushchair at all. However,I have a new Mazda 2 and have to take the whole thing apart to fit it in the boot, including the back wheels. This is a total hassle especially in winter weather. In fairness the Mazda boot is tiny for the size of car. It can be put in the boot without been taken apart if its on its side and with parcel shelf off,but it isn't steady and rattles about. I'd suggest trying it in your car boot before buying it. My dad has an estate car and it fits in that no bother. It is so easy to fold down and put up again. I would highly recommend this pushchair and my brother has purchased one on my recommendation, but he has a larger car than mine!!

I would recommend this pushchair-its used by my mum, husband and me. My eighteen month old loves it, sleeps easy and she looks so comfy. Its easy to fold -easy to change position, fits in a small car boot and I am able to use it easily on the bus.
I also would like to say how wonderful I have found the staff at Liverpool One-the after sales service has been spot on. Thank You!

Sola pushchair -Plum

Date:December 19, 2012
After having a Quinny (which I still love) I needed something more lightweight and practical. After searching the web I came across the Sola in plum and picked it up in the sale at the local store.
We have just had our first outing in and I can honestly say its brilliant. Lightweight, easy to collapse, colourful and practical. I can get a few bags of shopping in the basket underneath, which I'm not used to with the Quinny. My 1 year old can lay flat comfortably in it too which is a bonus as some they can look uncomfortable in.
Downside is wheels look a bit flimsy but we'll see how they go!
